Mission and Vision

Our Mission

Our mission is to be there for broken, captive, downcast, bound, lost, isolated and uprooted people. We bring healing to places of hurt emotions, depression, inner pain, fear, shame, guilt, trauma, rejection, abuse, anger, resentment, grief, addiction, disappointment, sin, and so forth. These are all things we can give over to the Lord. God’s presence is not far from us, because of Jesus Christ we can be set free into a powerful life.

Our Vision

Closely by His Side Ministries’ purpose is to be a ministry and a movement of disciples of Jesus, giving shape to the Kingdom of God in social, cultural and religious communities in Holland and abroad.

Our Biblical foundation is found in Isaiah 61:1-3, where we are called to bring good news to the poor, to heal the broken-hearted, to set the captives free (spirit soul and body), to comfort those who mourn, to speak God’s justice into situations, to give joy for a spirit of heaviness and to liberate those bound by depression. We want to show that Jesus Christ is our Saviour, Whom God empowered to be our redeemer, and that by His work on the cross, we can walk and live as He did.
