The message and the ministry
Closely by His Side Ministries is a ministry that heals and empowers people physically and spiritually by setting them free from their past. Our goal is to restore the dignity of human life, so that any person can flourish and do whatever he or she is called to do in this world. We focus on restoration, deliverance and healing of the human body, soul and spirit. Through the power of God, the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and the leading of the Holy Spirit, we have seen miraculous recoveries in people we have worked with for longer or shorter periods. We believe that God can and will do this for everyone.
The purpose of the foundation
Closely by His Side Ministries’ purpose is to be a ministry and a movement of disciples of Jesus, giving shape to the Kingdom of God in social, cultural and religious communities in Holland and abroad. This ministry aims to bring physical and spiritual restoration and lift people to higher and more powerful realms through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Biblical foundation of our organisation: Isaiah 61:1-3 (NKJV)
- “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me, To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
- To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,
- To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
The foundations for the work that we do are:
- Rebirth by repentance, water baptism and infilling of the Holy Spirit
- Ministry of healing and deliverance for a person’s full recovery
- Seeing the Kingdom break forth because of the gospel of Jesus
- Moving and living in the power of the Holy Spirit
- Giving expression to being united in diversity
- Heeding the Great Commission
- Bringing people (back) to the father heart of God
- Making God’s presence tangible through thankfulness, praise and worship
